Are you comparing your times to an FTD that was set in something that's vastly different than a stock 370Z?
I've been to solo events where there's Formula Fords, Super 7s and well prepared CRXs and Miatas. All things that would slaughter a stock 370Z if the course didn't allow for the Z to stretch its legs. So don't sweat the time gap between yourself and FTD.
One time I set (true/raw) FTD in the rain in my CSP Miata, but lost out to a Stock Audi A4 Quattro when the PAX index was applied. He clearly had the advantage in those conditions, but what can you do?

yeah-the guy w ftd was in a heavily modded car. I don't even know what it was. I just added his time so you guys would have the frame of reference i had. I improved from 86 seconds to the 68.3 my best time of the day

Much better but really tired mentally. But man. This sh1t is really hard! I WALKED the course 4 times!!!! I needed 4 more runs. The challenge is the course changes EVERY time
