woot, my whiteline just arrived, per my camera. :p

i have a feeling my front door bell is broken.. :icon14: probably from too many cycles receiving UPS shipments from amazon. :icon17:

had to ask the wife to pull it in from the porch. apparently she hasn't heard the doorbell for a while.
and i did not hear it either when that whore came by over the weekend. :icon17:

If I had to, I would pay the cost of the oil change for the dealership not to do an oil change on the Z :icon17: I would be a different story if the closest dealership weren't completely incompetent :ugh2:

You might want to get that doorbell replaced; you don't want to be missing your whores when they call on you :icon17:

JARblue 04-16-2013 11:19 AM

Home from Bastrop. I don't necessarily enjoy driving 2 hours round trip for a 5 minute inspection, but doing it in the Z makes it enjoyable

I'm right there with you, Huck. My stomach bug turned into a full on cold yesterday, and I went home early. However, I have an inspection in Bastrop this morning at 10 am :( I'm planning to go straight home after, though.

I feel for you bro, I've had this for like 5 days now. Sucks a big D.

Mr.kenchan.. :p

I think it should be ok to keep the rear sway stock, for street/DD, the rear suspension does not need to be too stiff.

XwChriswX 04-16-2013 12:56 PM

Isn't that the point with the aftermarket sways having multiple settings? Isn't one of them "OEM like" so that you can start there and adjust as needed?

kenchan 04-16-2013 12:58 PM

yah, that's wat im thinking too, mr.alcheng. from my past experience and current setting i have in my G, the front is setup much stiffer than the rear and my thought is that the front just needs a little bit of stiffening on the Z and it's all good. will see. :p

not necessarily. most bars in soft setting is still usually stiffer than stock.

im just going totally by the amount of stiffness i have on my G and using that experience in parallel on the Z. 35-36% stiffer than stock on the front is probably all the car needs. :)

Yes, but the stiffness of the OEM at the back is fine for regular driving too, therefore it's an option to change the rear.

Hmm, cause I have the Whitelines myself, F/R, and have them set on the "OEM-like" setting. So I'd like to see your thoughts as well.

I heard there was some myth that having different stiffness' on F/R based on aftermarket Front and OEM rear, or vis versa, would cause very poor handling? (Driver mod excluded)
