Hope everyone is having an enjoyable Thursday. For those of you off tomorrow, weekend is almost here!

:hello: again.

Back in the office now.

Was going to try and time it so I could get lunch on my way in, but lunch @ 10:30 is a no go. Even if I am hungry, I must stick to my schedule of lunch at noon. :icon17:

Once again though, I slammed my food into the floor when starting the Ford Ranger I had to drive, thinking there was a clutch pedal. :shakes head:

I'm glad no one can see when I do that.

It also doesn't have power mirrors, windows, or power locks. That's a trip watching me try adjust the passenger side-mirror and trying to figure out how to open the passenger door from the inside. :rofl2:

Did you let Andrew, Depointfive0, know? Supposedly he has some contact there that treats him and others right.

I'm surprised that in 3 years I have never made mistake when switching between the 6mt Z and 5mt Scion. I even down shift rev match on the scion without ever making the mistake of anticipating SRM to do it for me.

Haboob 05-16-2013 01:55 PM

When I was driving it back from Vegas (where it was purchased) I went about 70mi of highway driving after the Hoover Dam before I realized I was in 5th gear on the highway. :wtf2:

My Friday was done at 3:30 am.

I took Mini GaleForce out for breakfast, dropped him off at daycare, did some dusting around the house, and had a nap. Now it's time to vacuum and cut/trim the lawn, then.... It's beer o'clock. unless I go to the Ertefa thing. Then beer o'clock will come much later. :ugh2:

Then I'll go pick up the car on Sunday :excited:

Sweet! Looking forward to some details after getting the tune done. Will you have dyno sheets to post?

Back from RR Nissan appt. I am going to drop the car off with them sometime next week possibly. They will look have their tech look at it further and determine whether the entire headliner needs to be replaced or not. Then it may take another appt for work to be done.

Yup. A while ago. No word back. But I know he had some issues with one of his vehicles, so I understand. Hopefully, I'll hear back from him, but I was pretty pleased with the dealer's attitude toward all of my concerns.

me, TOO!! I'm not holding my breath, but I'm hoping maybe Andrew will come through with someone who will go to bat for me or that I am able to convince the service guy that's it's in both our best interests to replace the liner - I get a real fix instead of a band-aid, and they get to charge Nissan for more labor and make more money :icon17:

I fight with SRM every time I forget to turn it off after demoing it for a friend :icon17:

It's not unusual for me to be in 1st or 2nd gear on the highway :ugh2:

Not this trip :( He's going to tune it and give it back to me to drive and do some additional logging. Then I will take it back for any additional tweaks that might be necessary, and we'll do dyno runs for stock/tuned comparison

JARblue 05-16-2013 03:12 PM

BAM!! Rules be damned!!

JARblue 05-16-2013 03:14 PM

Also, I'm not going to Houston tomorrow, but my dad is still willing to meet me in New Braunfels to give me a ride home so I can still drop off the Z at the tuner's

Plus, I don't have to put as many miles on the Z, keeping me in better shape for my headliner warranty claim. They said as long as I get it to them for inspection to start the claim before I hit 36K miles, they will honor it even if the work isn't actually performed until after I pass the warranty mileage limit.

JARblue 05-16-2013 03:14 PM

Where is everyone?
