that's the idea - blocks less vision; they're functional cause they're slightly convex giving wider viewing area than stock also

yah, they are very wide field of view. you loose the remote mirror controls so that might be inconvenience if dd.

for me, no issue. i just need to make sure my little kids dont bump their pumpkin heads (or my pumpkin head while detailing lower part of car) into them.

It's not a height issue, it just sticks out farther than the other (which is flush). I think bending the hanger is the only option.
