been reading up on that insurance thread in GD... makes no sense for 2 reasons:

1. topic is stupid
2. 80% of the folks are on my ignore list

Good idea. I like these tips, but I don't have an HKS exhaust :( If I get my custom exhaust ever, I'll consider using them

:iagree:

not sure how to check abs, just wondering if you had over stretched the cable or not by accident. they are pretty robust though...

im not a fan of that afterburner tip. :ugh2: i put the guy in ignore list cause he keeps popping up with that dumbarse (to me) design of an exhaust tip. :icon14:

As far as I know, I haven't touched the cable, but I have been wrong before :icon17:

I like the afterburner. Very unique and not over the top. lol @ you and your iggy list - his thread is barely 20 posts long and half of them are mine :bowrofl:

ask berk (or whoever made the lousy exhaust) to pay for the fees.

Yeah, there's a local guy that my friends and I have used in the past.

I may run it by there and see what he thinks he can do to get it flush. Though, I don't think Berk would even consider paying the cost for it, since they have a "solution" to the issue. It's probably not worth the trouble, as he may only charge $100 or so for it, maybe less, who knows.

huh, wat is berk's solution to the issue? return for a full refund? :ugh2:

i would just do the 100 and call it a day.

They're going to send me some spacers to put in to push the passenger side out to make the tips even. :ugh2:

in other news, my flourcesent twisty bulbs arrived. woot! :D

one of the two on my garage door opener burnt out after 3yrs use. i use the daylight 14w or 15w bulbs.

i think next time around im going to get LED bulbs like the ones i run in my music room.

kenchan 05-07-2013 04:08 PM

been noticing these new altima's driving around with wat appears to be dealer-installed rear wings with LED.

the problem is, they dont unplug the rear deck brake light so it looks stupid. :icon14:

not sure why they didn't make the lamp like the Z's trunk where the center lamp is part of the trunk. then no issue when customer asks to get raped with dealer-installed rear spoiler.

Anyone see the thread the guy posted about his low tire pressure light being on? He just posted that he has a flat tire "out of nowhere" :bowrofl: :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

so one of my pops' neighbors is a test driver for michelin. i shall ask my pops to ask his friend why i should consider PSS over the RE11's.

im like half  for pss reading the posts. it appears to have similar european trait as my DW's. high tread wear, quiet ride, soft sidewall, roundish sidewall look, mushy response.

i like quiet ride, but sidewall has to look :yum: bridgestone does it right, and stiff/fast response.

Cleaned and dusted my primary computer today; it's been way too long. I used nearly a full can of compressed air - the rest I used upside down on a nearby ant bed :icon17:

so people that talk super loud... are they deaf?

kenchan 05-07-2013 04:41 PM

why'd this guy need to make a new thread when there's already a swift thread right under it? wtf..

:icon17: This was before I did put the doors back on and secured most of the wiring. I have some small velcro straps for attaching the wires to the chassis. The main purpose for wire management for me is air flow (no window on this case). The case has a very purposeful air flow design, which is anchored by two 120mm variable speed fans on the door for the intake. I can actually speed them up to change the environment inside the case from negative to positive pressure :nerd:

H&R Stud Replacement Type. Just likes the ones I have :icon17: Seriously, though, I have 15/20/25. I think I'm going to use the 20mm (+ get another set), so you can have either the 15 or 25 if you want

Well crap, I think it's on my end... I just found something in the hosting that says 250MB max size per file  I assume your file is much larger than that. I have an SFTP server on my home computer that we could use, but I think it would require you install a third-party FTP client that supports SFTP (Secure FTP). I don't want it to be too complicated.
