It's amazing how green and otherwise colorful everything is at your house.

I don't get to see much of that out here, though I don't want it in my yard either, for I don't want to have to maintain it. :icon17:

Def. a nice shot all around. Maybe one day I'll get me a nice camera to take some shots like that, rather than having to rely on a friend.

So I held the Canon T3i and the Nikon D5100 today. I gotta be honest: they both felt great in my hand w/ little difference. I think either one would give me a fine experience. I spoke with a truly helpful gentleman at Calumet Photo not three minutes from my hotel. Awesome shop! They've got EVERYTHING!

Like I said, both are very comparable cameras. You almost can't go wrong with either one. Are you leaning toward a particular one yet? Also, something to consider is the lenses. Imo canon lenses seem to have better reviews.

Abridged version of a long story:

Owned the Mustang over two years. Between it and the S2K I decided I didn't have enough space for both. Decided to sell the Mustang (January) and DD the S2K. Plan was to drive the S2K until the new C7 came out, then buy that.

Started to realize the new C7 was going to be $65k-$75k optioned how I'd want it. Don't want to spend that much. Prioritizing travel, marriage, kids, etc. Decided I'd be better off sticking with a modest GT car and adding a Jeep/F150 when kids come in a few years.

I always felt the Z was more of a GT car than a pure sports car since it blends elements of cars like the 5.0 and s2k pretty well. I had some issues with my 09 when I sold it but always loved that car, and it really felt like unfinished business. So it was kind of a no-brainer. The 13s had grown on me and dark blue is my favorite color on a car ever... so it was hard to resist.

And DD'ing the S2K was terrible. :bowrofl:

Anyways, that pic was taken with my Canon 60D with the kit 18-135 lens.

In the end, yeah. It's like my poor guy 911. And I love it! :roflpuke2:

I gotta say, though, in some respects it feels like a truck compared to the S2K. Especially given the :forever clunky: 6MT... but I love it nonetheless.

Perhaps he was tired of having a back seat, and wanted moah powah than the s2k could provide. :)

Spacers... 20/20 or 20/25?

I had 15/20 on my old Z. 15 wasn't enough. 20 was close but I can't remember if I could do more or not. Car will be :forever stock height: given the roads I drive around here.

hmm 20 25 maybe if you want to really push it out. However, with no drop maybe 20 is fine for the rear.

I seriously think you could do 20/25 and be just perfect!
