Started the day doing some painting on my second floor. Needed some supplies so I went for a home depot run in the Z. Took me twice as long as usual (Zs fault) and when I got back home I decided it was too nice of a day to continue painting so I got myself a beer and called it a day. Eventually itll get done. Procrastination ftw :D

I know this all too well. The drywall in my man cave has been ready to be sanded for a couple months now. Maybe I'll get to it next winter. :ugh2:

Good planing, and having goals are essential.

Many of you guys are much further ahead of me when I was your age. Stay the course.

Needless to say my other half thought/still thinks its stupid but my money so :gtfo2: at the time I wasn't ready to move to bigger house as I needed to finish my apprenticeship and get my license so I would be fully established before moving into a larger more expensive home. But I had the money to buy the Z

Hey at least youre timelines are accurate lol. I hung new six panel doors upstairs 3weeks ago so now that and all the trim need a coat of white paint. I originally said id have everything done in 3weeks. So far only one room is completely done. Just too hard to do house work when the weather is so nice and the Z and beer keep calling my name :D

LMBmikeZ 04-27-2013 01:02 PM

Well I have decided I am going to take up rapping..........

LMBmikeZ 04-27-2013 01:04 PM

Lol I mean wrapping, carbon fiber wrapping.

Been looking at cf kits online most of the day........ I mean I have been hard at work ya that's right hard at.......work??:icon14:

I have been watching lots of DIY vids and finally got the itch to order a kit to try a few parts. Was thinking I would try some of my brothers Honda parts as a practice price first then try a z part after some success.

Going to order the kit when I get home and can use a proper comp not my mobile or the company computer :icon17:

We actually have a retro McDonald's here in Austin with the old school arches. Nostalgia for some I'm sure

Do you drink anything other than MGD and Lowenbrau, or have you just developed a special affinity for those two? Just curious.

Its a design dimensional tolerance flaw on the bushing, but the bar itself works fine. :) And the car feels goood.

Don't you owe me a meal? :p We do need to do dinner again soon though. Thanks for the work!

So Jar finished 2/3 of the lip and then we ran into this. Any recommendations on how to fix it? I have a pint of Bondo body filler that has not been opened but we were wondering if using just a glaze and spot filler putty would be best?

What the hell is that?

My knee-jerk reaction is to sand lightly and paint on. :)

Hmm, I'm no professional, but I think either solution you brought up would come up looking great!

kenchan 04-27-2013 02:15 PM

Putty (spot bondo) would be the way to go, but if not too deep, layers of primer might work

Also plastic cement, but it will take a while to dry.
