also some disposable gloves and some other stuff for the garage.

will check detailing gear stock this weekend to see if i need to order more QD or something.

then i will have to stop by walmart (taffyappleland ) to get some mobil1 and gear oil...
I ran out of wax and clay last session, so I'll have to pick up some more soon. Probably need more of the QD, too, although I only use it for clay - I never touch up the car between washes

you can do the Prima Hydro from detailersdomain.com and be done with waxing. just spray and wipe as you dry and it will last about 3-4wks. just spray after each wash.

i use it on my dd's. very effective product. over painted surfaces, plastics, glass. will not whiten. for our harsh winters i put a nice coat of polymer, but in your area where you can wash all yr long, just do the Hydro.

I may have to check that out - heard nothing but good things

I've never found a liquid wax that gave me as much pleasure as 2 good coats of paste wax, although I'll admit maybe part of that is the hard work put in by hand bias. I also generally wax only a few times per year, so I try to make 'em good ones. I know it's probably better to do something like Hydro every month, but I regularly go 2 months without even a wash because I just don't have time. And often the in-between washes are half-assed quick no detail washes, often skipping the interior or wheels or both. I know she deserves better, which is why I try to go all out when I get the time to do a true detailing.

I am also wondering if it is time for a polymer since the car is now two years old. My understanding is I can do a polymer first, and still use a paste (idk about liquid but I would guess it too?) wax on top

sorry me no reply ... I have to admit I'm a bit confused exactly what is going to happen, but I'm sure it's going to be awesome I figured I'd just get the details next time I see you.
