Holy crap! Man when you do it up, you go all out! :ughdance:

Ps. $150 will fix that right up. :)

GaleForce 02-22-2013 09:37 PM

That's enough reason NOT to buy new wheels!

Ouch. Now you have a reason to get new wheels.

btw I just looked up the service manual and there is only one bolt in the door - the one we saw (not two like he said). There is no difference between the regular coupe and nismo (there is a separate chapter for the roadster, but of course that's irrelevant). There's one more bolt under the side skirt and a couple of clips under the hood. That dealership is completely incompetent imo... the service manual is incredibly straight forward. They didn't even take the side skirts off

I'm thinking they wanted to get out of there on a Friday night.

Yep, life is full of expensive mistakes. I've made my fair share of them.

Old school curb feelers FTMFW!

Pintsize725 02-22-2013 10:04 PM

Well I'm off to go cry and figure out what I want to do about my tail light wrap. The company owner "wants to make it right" instead of refund.

Don't worry, it'll be all right. I guaran-farking-tee tho: you won't do that again! I'm a freaking psycho when I pull up abreast a curb. I crawl, and make very careful navigation decisions.

(That's right, I said a-breast...chuckle away, my friends)

Jar knows I'm always busting Cadillac turns in the Z to avoid curbs. Oh well. I'm taking her to Discount tire tomorrow to get checked out.

I do sometimes, but I have the Z and a pickup truck so I'm set as far as fun and practicality go... but the MS3 was a fun year 'round car where the 3-4 months I'm stuck in my truck start to get old in February/March.

The flip side of that is when I unwrap the car at Easter (roll the rock away from its cave?) it smells and feels new and has had 3-4 months off which means crazy low mileage. It's a 2009 with just a tick over 28,000 miles.
