JAR - Yes you can poly first then past wax NP! Also to save some work when buffing your carnauba wax try using a DA polisher if you have one it can help save a lot of time and effort, carefully with a clean pad on place a microfiber cloth across the pad holding on to the corner and use the polisher to help buff away, saves a lot of elbow grease

I am addicted to detailing and love it freshly waxed .............anything freshly waxed really :yum:

I've used them several times (it was great on my SUV), but never on the Z. I like the intimate hands on experience with the Z. It's more work, sure, but it's much more arousing, too :yum: Also, I figure I'm still young and have lots of elbow grease to spare :icon17:

Terms pop up in alcheng's mind today:

Iggist: The person who put tupid-newb or some dumb a$$ into the Iggyland
example: Mr.kenchan is an Iggist

Iggian: The person who is resident in the Iggyland, usually they will stay as an Iggian forever.
example: Many tupid-newb has immigrated to Mr.kenchan's Iggyland and become an Iggian.

Iggyland: The 4th-dimension space which dedicated to be the residence for the Iggian.
example: Mr.kenchan's Iggyland is one of the Iggian hotspot in the forum.

Iggy: A verb, the action of an Iggist putting a tupid-newb into the Iggyland thus that particular tupid-newb becomes an Iggian.
example: Mr.kenchan the Iggist master had Iggied Mr.Isamu into his Iggyland and become an Iggian, but things has changed and Mr.kenchan and Mr.Isamu are now best buddies.

I also prefer by hand on my Z, but I do detailing on the side and will use the DA to help speed up my removal stage so I can be more time efficient so the customer has less down time from their vehicle

That makes perfect sense. I would absolutely be using a DA in your case. In fact, I would buy one for our second vehicle if it weren't a lease that I don't care about. Also, the Z is much smaller than any other car I've ever cared enough to wax (pretty much all SUVs), so it doesn't seem bad even when it still takes 2-3 hours.
