I went with the official mount that they included with the Hero2 motorsports edition (I bought a hero 3)

My buddy actually had some problems with his snowboard attachment when we were in Tahoe for the bachelor party. He wound up with some really funny video after the camera came off and went rolling down the mountain at pretty high speed when landing a jump. As it was an adhesive mount, I'm pretty sure he did not properly clean the snowboard or mount surface prior to installing the double sided adhesive pad. We're going to go over a way for him to fix it properly when he is in town at the end of them of the month for his brother's wedding

I would think most of the issues with people losing their gopro's is 99% user error. From what I hear the suction cup mount really "sucks" :nutswinger:

:iagree: this $hit ain't rocket science, and the camera is too nice for them to cheap out on the mount...

or stop applying to dirty surfaces that don't hold well.

Waiting for the wrap place to get black satin in and then test to see if it will adhere to the lip well. If yes, I'll be getting the lip, fangs and b pillar finishers wrapped. If it can't adhere well, I'll just be installing it as plain flat black against the gloss fangs.

 Why not just use painter's blue so it matches the theme? :icon17:

FYI, I am ordering white, pearlizer and glossifier Plasti Dip for that project. That, I might need your help with.

No kidding... it's amazing how much 5 seconds and some rubbing alcohol can help

I did get a taste of boost. I like it  I didn't want to overdo it, I was running bald summer tires with 0°c temps. After reading stories from others who were in similar situations (without boost), I half expected to die. :pics:

I am trying to get all the loose ends tied up by the end of the month at the same time we're planning a trip to PA sometime in April.

Need to research hotels and stuff.

:yum: it's so addicting isn't it! :excited: glad your experience was good, and safe
