I feel your pain. Had mine removed last year as a 43 year old. There's no way to describe how uncomfortable the recovery is. My advice, don't eat food you have to chew. Honestly, I had an occasional milk shake, mashed potatoes, jello, and ice chips. Lost of few pounds in the process. Good luck and stop eating the hot dogs for now.
