I am planning to get the sways in Feb or Mar... need to take a break on spending-money cos I just spent quite a bit for the last couple weeks.... :icon14:

yah, mr.alcheng, back maybe 10-12yrs ago i just HATED the winter here cause i wanted to drive so bad. :icon17: but ive gotten to the point where im a car enthusiast, but not really obessed by it. i can cope with the 3-4months hibernation. probably because ive driven the same roads around here so many hundreds, if not thousands of times, at the similar 300hp range, that it's not as adventurous (sp?) as it was a while back when i only had 4banger cars. and my music hobby is at its prime season right now.

swaybars in feb/mar sounds like perfect timing. i hope to have the new 4400bh by then. i checked pricing and its still around $379...was around 485 when they first came out about 10months ago. :)

which reminds me... ms.bc, did you install your HU yet?? :p

:iagree:

Same here... the Z is my DD in Summer time... drive it everyday and same route, only the route is not as exciting as Mr.Mt Tam Iam's :icon17:

I thought there's a new model from Pioneer coming out in Feb/Mar, right?

For Ms.BC20, I think she haven't have the HU installed yet, prolly til the spring time when her Z is uncovered... :icon17:

i hate customer service issues. at least you can talk to someone while at the airport, instead of calling and waiting, holding, waiting, listening to stupid music and commercials, waiting some more, and then finally some guy in another country answers with a heavy accent.

mr.alcheng- sounds good! dd'ing the Z should be loads of fun.

yah, i lived in LA a while back and i carved canyons every weekend early mornings. it was fun as hell and wouldn't have traded anything for the fun... but even that gets kind of boring after you do it for so many hundreds of times. :)

yep, pioneer apparently released a 5500(?) model which is being demo'ed at CES this week, i think. should be available soon. but i want the 4400bh mainly for the 7" screen. my current one is a 5.8" and it's small compared to the 7" in my G. :)

ahhh, yes, ms.bc did mention something like she was waiting for spring to come around. might be a good thing as plastic gets brittle in the winter time. :D

Hey gang :hello: Super busy lately, which is why the reps are slacking (and I understand it's hard to reciprocate that rep when one isn't :postwhore:ing)

I have no idea when I'll be able to do all these fluid swaps, but I'm ordering everything today. My only question is whether my research was thorough to make sure I'm not missing anything. Primarily, I wanted to make sure I didn't need any other Nissan-only parts (i.e. the metal gaskets) - I should have (or have access to) pretty much any tools required. Thanks in advance :tiphat:

( Click to show/hide )
Manual Transmission: Three (3) quarts of Redline MT-85 + two (2) Nissan metal gaskets (Part #38351B) + refill pump

Rear Differential: Two (2) quarts of Redline 75W90 + two (2) Nissan metal gaskets (Part #38351B)

Power Steering: One (1) quart of Redline Dexron VI Automatic Transmission Fluid

Brake and Clutch Fluids: One (1) quart of ATE Super Blue
