I hope to get out to the garage, but I'm looking after the little guy, then scoring some imaginary brownie points by cleaning the house before Mrs.Force gets home from work. But it is so mild outside that it would be a very good time to work on my full size 3D puzzle. Hmmm... Imaginary brownie points, or working on the car.... |
Good Saturday everyone :hello:
I am just swimming with ideas lately. I think I figured out that I can use pretty much any spray paint I want to to the strut tower brace as long as I use it sandwiched between Dupli-Color's Engine Enamel primer and clear. Ms. BC, I suspect if you took it to a specialty shop, they could do what ever you want, but I'm looking for a DIY solution. Dupli-Color has other options as well with a variety of paints that withstand temps up to 500F (or least intermittently - I think only the caliper paint resists continually). Quote:

I can take a picture of some rolled up silicone vacuum hose or take a screen shot of an Uprev download. :ugh2: |

Why the hell won't someone sell me their carbon fiber slr lip for like $250? That's not too much to ask, right?

There was a guy that had one for sale and I got all happy, then realized it was frp. Sad day. And evo-r doesn't even make it anymore from what I can see. He only makes the type 1 lip that I don't like.

Good day all! :hello:
Well, I managed to get my stock wheel studs installed with zero peripheral damage! :happydance: No scratched wheels or calipers. A miracle occurred. This is the first time I've seen my car with Nismo rims and no spacers. I'm fine with the look. Definitely looks better than the Sport rims without spacers. Had to pass by the office for an hour, but now I'm officially "off" for the rest of the weekend - Barrett-Jackson today and football tomorrow. Go Niners and Ravens! :tiphat: |
Sounds good, mr.gurney !
I too prefer the nismo wheels without spacers. Hello everyone! :hello: |

Finally sat down. Have not eaten since breakfast... A short glass of Gentleman Jack is in front of me, I'm probably going to be about half-crocked in 15 minutes. :) Things turned out pretty well thus far, I think we can have 3" cut off the stringers and patch in some good hardwood and we'll be OK. I'd like to do something more moisture-proof, I'm going to ask my guy if maybe it would be possible to pour a final stair of concrete for the remains of the stringers to rest on. We have done a lot to keep our basement dry, but at times the water table gets so high it just comes up through every crack in the floor. However the damage there currently is from years of the washer overflowing/gutters not being adequate, etc. Back at it tomorrow, but it's coming along. |
Yo :hello:

I'm hungry.
