Also bought her Z1 hood struts. Installed Slight problems

Had major bulging on the driver side. Cut away at some plastic and reduced bulging a lot - but still barely noticeable and it's noticeable in the hood release. I had to fashion my own locking pin, though that might have been my fault if I lost one of the pins. Also, they sound horrible when opening fully. It's like they just need a good spray of WD-40, but I don't know if that's ok to use on these.
