Nissan called and said they can't cover it due to prior work being done. They acknowledge that it has not been repainted but if other work was done, they won't do anything. So I said, "Ok, fine, bye."
Just going to do a claim on my insurance and get the fenders and hood painted early next year. Might as well start saving for the new fenders I want.

How is everyone else doing?

yah, definitely try insurance for that, ms.pint.

for me.. so i saw that i could update my V1 at the valentine one site anyway, i checked my serial number since the one in my
G is like 7-8yrs old.

i found that i can update it for the hwy filters but it will set me back $199. ive not checked the one in my Z, but that could also set me back another $199.

so, what to do with the $400 i just saved?

Good eyes Mr.kenchan...!!

That is the newest associated kit TC6.1

Socal host one of the biggest R/C race in the world during the Winter, we used to have lots of guys fly to there to race..

I started off with HPI chassis too, one of the most popular choices at that time (about 15 yrs ago )

Then I switch to Yokomo, nicely build but the turn-in wasn't shape enough...

Then I switch to the TC-3 from associated, shaft-driven tub-chassis. The shaft-driven design make the car the fastest on acceleration and straight line speed, the amazing thing is they manage to minimize the torque-steer from the motor since the motor was mounted longitudinally...

After the TC-3, I switch to the T-1 from XRAY.... then I "retired"....

It was so much fun....

We ran 8-9 turns double or triple motors.... friggni' fast....

i had a 9 turn armature i bought in japan that i put together with one of my 7turn cans and i was able to churn out 7turn speed, but at the efficiency of a 9turn. so 3min modified racers were no issue even with the 2000mAh. i could go near 5min before dump. those were indeed great times.

my weekend was motor the santa monica canyons early am in my real car, then head over to socal to race rc cars in the afternoon.

The TC-3, got a huge delay on its release at that time, mainly because the torque-steer issue from the motor... somehow they fixed the problem.

Before I retired the TC-3, the last race it participate was a 12-hours endurance.

Yup, 12-hours, from 12am to 12pm, with a stock motor.

We managed to won the first place, I forgot how many laps we were over the 2nd place but it was about 100+ for sure....

7 turns motor is crazy, but since you guys have the track which has a long straight-way... why not??

And we run 5 mins race too, with the 8-9 turns..

dang... my hands are getting "itch" now....

Those are fun stuffs man.. and it can be complicate if you want to setup the chassis right...

I just text my friend about the details and prolly I will do a practice run in about 2 weeks, then we decide which class and which chassis to run...

That def. sux. You never know in our world how long you have. My sister's husband died at 28 of a brain aneurysm. He was a paramedic but didn't take his BP meds. Evry day we have is a blessing.
