Forgive me, but I have' t been able to catch up on my reading yet, but what's the deal with your hood Tracie?

I noticed a paint defect this summer but unfortunately didn't do anything about it. It's escalated from a blurred smooth spot to a cracked spot within a month. It was under the clearcoat to begin with.

I need a better picture but:
