i know right, this program on TV was like " if you burn the clutch out of this car, it comes as a hefty price to replace. Big money sports cars ALWAYS mean a hefty pricetag. parts. tires. everything" lol

I helped a buddy a while back. His resume got filtered out for a position to which he was applying because they (Teledyne MEC) thought he was over-qualified/educated. So, I spoke with their VP of Operations about him and what he can do because I have known this guy for a long time -- first as one of my students and then professionally. Turns out, they ended up hiring him and he is a supply chain and materials analyst and his work saves them a huge amount of dollars and he has reduced lead times, increased throughput, etc. The upshot is that they are in love with him and vice versa.

So, tonight's dinner is all about him feeling as if he needs to pay me back, but I don't look at is that way as he gave me a great reference when I was in the application process with Edgewater/Fullscope. Likely, the four of us tonight will split the check two ways or I will just pick it up.
