True, Japanese food could be tricky sometimes, I remember couple years ago my friend got illness from the sushi during a trip in Florida.... :ugh2:

i eat sushi on occasion including unagi, and i always wonder the freshness.
the fish could be fresh, but what about the knives they use, etc? bacteria can become toxic rather quickly.

yea.. the place we go is usually very clean... but it could be, I just have a stronger stomach then her? lol
