just installed the Z1 hoods struts. Not really happy with them at this point. The hood bulges on each side where the damper is and it very obviously pushes down on the battery and brake master cylinder covers.

Being the ocd type person I am with the Z, that will not work for me.

I will let the damper settle and reevaluate the situation.

did you install it right? cus your the first ive heard this from... and not seen it on anyone else's so far.

Baer had this issue as well. He had to heat the plastic covers to bend them for better fit.

That sucks. I think I have a set coming for christmas... Not going to want to install these if this is the result.

I asked a buddy in Chicago to confirm his install (he installed 2 weeks ago) I might have to go to his place and see for myself if it's just me (and Baer) or is it widespread.
