My day just got a bit exciting in a morbid way. Came back from lunch and noticed a massive blood pile and drag marks from the entrance of our industrial park until about two blocks in. Drag marks end at a dumpster with another large blood pile. Had to call the police just to make sure it was an animal and not a person. They have yet to show up.

Here is a photo of a spot outside our work. There are about 4 other spots like this with drag marks.

Looks like liquid poured out of the back of a pickup truck... like water from the truck bed after a rain, just in this case the water is red... Did a garbage truck just empty the bins?

Hope that's all it is but I ain't about to go check it out.

Still don't know. Cops never showed up. A few of the guys here went and followed the trail as well and say that it looks like it was maybe seeping out of the garbage pick up truck since there a few dark spots near a couple of dumpsters. They think it might not be blood after all. *shrug*

Found out, I have a policy on my insurance that cuts my deductible in half if I complete a blue form about the parking lot hit-and-run on the Acura last night, submit the form to the local police department, and fax a copy to the insurance :tup:

We started climbing the dangerously pointed fence we encountered, and soon a police office came over after and asked wtf we were doing. We told him honestly that we were trying to get onto the Capitol grounds, and he told us the grounds were open to the public and pointed to a gate about 100 feet away. Then he said, "but you boys really ought to be getting home". We happily obliged :tup:
