Whats great about the .40 is that the frame is the same size as the .357 and they use the same mags, I bought a Storm Lake .357 barrel for it, two guns in one, for the cost of one, cant beat that!

Yeah that's cool, but the ammo is more expensive and that adds up if you shoot often.
