A good friend of mine nearby has some land way out in the country near the NC/SC state line. Ryan and I went out there yesterday to go shooting. I put around 175 rounds through the XDm, Ryan shot his P95, AR15 and .410 shotgun for a few hours yesterday afternoon.
Thoughts on the XDm so far:
- Love it, it feels great to shoot
- A little more kick than I remembered, Ryan observed this as well
- Slide spring is really heavy, even with a good grip it can be hard to pull the slide back
- I shot 100 rds of cheap ammo, and 75ish of not-quite-as-cheap ammo... no jams, stovepipes or anything
- Towards the end of the day, my grouping was closer together but still bottom and to the right of target.
- AR15s are fun to shoot
