You need to do a looooot of reading on 1911's. Advice will be extremely subjective and Bias. But, what i can tell you. The best, most reliable 1911's are the ones that you order from world famous gunsmiths and wait for because they are being hand built.

Buying an expensive factory produced 1911 doesn't guarantee reliability.
