I said you were right, it's not a downgrade.

But 2-3 mpg sacrifice for that much more performance is worth it imo.

But the insurance is definitely way cheaper on the Z06 than the 370Z.

That car is sooo hot! Was looking at it last night. I'd love to own one.

Thank you, kind sir. I don't think I'll be doing stuff on my own because our financial situation is not secure enough for me to dump a regular salary since the consulting stuff can be pretty sporadic. But my other boss has an existing company that I can just switch over to, and it will pay me salary based on the work I currently have established. And then hopefully I can get some profit-sharing based on that revenue. We'll just have to see how it goes.

Go for it, C7, why take an older model?

Well, it depends on numbers and looks.

If the C7 looks like dog weiner and is soft and slow like a base C6, or costs 65 grand, then I might opt for the C6 Z06, which will drop in value but still drive like a supercar for under 40k.

If the C7 looks like Mila Kunis in a bikini and is nearly as fast as the C6 Z06, and MSRP's for around 50, it might be the way to go.

Or I'll just keep the Z for 10 years or until it dies.

It's fun to dream.
