I'm a little upset that my 2011 MBP (quad-core 2.0ghz/8gb ddr3 ram/256mb nividia card) can't run this game on high settings without series lag.

what do you guys think of the game? im seeing a lot of negative stuff on incgamers.. not sure if i wanna spend the 60$ on it

I think World of Warcraft ruined what used to be one of the most genius developers there is. WOW made them greedy.
I no longer see Blizzard as elite whilest they share company with developers like Bioware, Naughty Dog, Ubisoft, Bethesda, and Rockstar. |

Just ordered a new laptop to play D3 with
Asus N55 SL DS 71 -- i7 Quad Core, 8GB memory, and GeForce with 2GB video memory. Probably could have gotten away with lower specs, but since its my first new computer in around 7 years, I felt I was due a decent upgrade |

Got my new PC last night and played a bit. Pretty fun. Playing as a Demon Hunter right now. pm me if you want to add my BattleTag -- though I'll probably play solo until I get used to the game again.

well i bought d3. two pc's and a mac at home, and it wont install or play on any of them. one laptop pc seems to be short on memory, the mac just says "this application cant be installed on this version of mac." and the desktop, just freezes up at 1% of install. any ideas where / how i can troubleshoot? im quite computer ignorant....
|
^^ as long as your computer meets the minimum stats, you can avoid installing via the DVD by simply signing up for battlenet and using the gamekey to download it from Blizzard.
|
i think i have to upgrade the directX thingy to 9.0? hope i dont have to buy more sh*tte
|
^^ Don't know why an outdated direct X would prevent you from installing via the DVD ...
Anyway, once you've bought the game, there's nothing else you have to pay for. Battlenet is free (in fact an account is required to play the game) and once you've associated your gamekey with your battlenet account, it doesn't matter how you get the game onto the computer -- DVD install, dl from Blizzard it's all the same. I was just saying that if it was your DVD player on the wonk that was keeping you from installing, it doesn't cost anything extra to simply download it from Blizzard. |
