Yeah for Verizon once you reach your upgrade point, you can buy a new phone with discounted pricing and that will just extend your contract by 2 years from the date you buy the new phone. I could have upgraded my phone in March but wanted to wait for the S3. My actual contract ends in July so I almost waited till the end

Along with sprints high fees are the sucky service, which might even cause me to change carriers at the end of august, another reason I wouldn't commit to a S3 right now.
