I still need to go into the best buy store to cancel my pre-order.......and figure out what to do with this $50 gift card.

Jasonle 06-20-2012 11:06 AM

your canceling the order?

b1adesofcha0s 06-20-2012 11:16 AM

Cancelling the Best Buy pre-order. I already pre-ordered through Verizon so I could be safe about keeping my unlimited data plan.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date Pushed Back on T-Mobile and Sprint

Both Sprint and T-Mobile have reported that some shipments of the smartphone will have to be pushed back due to an extremely high demand for the device and various complications.

Sprint recently stated that it is confident that the 16GB Galaxy S3 will be delivered on the original June 21 release date, however, some of the 32GB models will be pushed back to the following week.

"We are optimistic that we'll be shipping all Samsung Galaxy S3-16GB pre-orders this week and that they will be delivered by June 21 as anticipated," said Sprint in a community post. "There is a chance however, that we may be a day or two late. We anticipate shipping all Samsung Galaxy S3-32GB pre-orders this week."

This is the case I'm waiting for. Not out yet, but coming soon.

I did get my white 3M Di-Noc in and am waiting for my practice case to get here sometime this or next week.

Unless you have unlimited data with Verizon. If you do, you need to pre-order before June 28th or say goodbye to unlimited data.

My cousin had one one his phone and tried to show it off by chucking it across the street. The case and the phone came apart as soon as it hit the ground :roflpuke2:

His excuse was that one of the clips was loose

Can one of you guys explain to me what this wireless charger or how does it work? They said its sold separately.. from what I've been reading.. for it to charge it has to be placed on a pad? Anyone know about this? Just want make sure I'm understanding this right

b1adesofcha0s 06-20-2012 10:52 PM

I think with the Samsung one, if your phone is within a certain distance of the wireless charger, it will start charging itself automatically. I don't think Samsung has released any info about it's release date yet though.

Hopefully I'll order one once my contracts up later this year but I'll see what the NexusII looks like.

I may just jump carriers since eventually I'm going to get screwed with the new shared data plans in the future

Man, get you an iPhone and be done with it.

So got my S3, first thoughts, AMAZING. This is coming from an previous Iphone 4s user. Some of the things I immediately noticed to the Iphone is the obvious large super crisp screen. The phone itself is very user friendly, I was able to multitask a lot on this phone. Such as writing an email in the middle of a video, and having many apps downloading in the background. The S-Voice is actually better than Siri in terms of what "she" can do. More commands can be given to her, and she follows quickly.

Warning for people with small hands though, its a Large phone, so it does take two hands to handle unless you have big hands. I do so im good lol. Other than that the only other downfall or should I say (better on the 4s then the S3) is the battery life. But androids are known to have poor battery life anyways, however I think it has improved on the S2 in battery life.

Overall more than pleased with the phone, ran some speed tests and def much quicker than my 4s was. It really is Very fast.

I don't know if I'm going to get the S3, I may upgrade to keep my unlimited data though verizon and then just sell the phone and not open it. Then ill buy whatever I see off contract. I have a galaxy nexus right now to hold me over

That sounds like a good plan.

Jasonle 06-24-2012 09:32 PM

You have the galaxy 2 right?
Its a motion phone too right ?..I can't figure out how to turn off that motion. And I don't see the option in motion setting. .Every time my phone rings and I go pick it up the actual phone .. it rejects the phone call cause I moved the phone.. I want turn that off. My wife phone doesn't do that on hers..hope this isn't a defect.
