its varies, i guess the main goal is to market the 2013 GTR in its 3 biggest markets here in the US ( FL NY CA) to mostly owners of previous year GTRs and a handful of possible converts or new owners...

i got to go because im founder of NAGTROC and weve been working really closely with nissan on some things over the last year... it turned out a huge % of attendees were owners club members and nissan was very appreciative of our help with building the brand here in the US..

the same team who puts this on markets the 370z too so the Z is in good hands
they are making attempts to involve owners of the Z in things like the project Z that will be debuted at Zdayz aswell as the hospitality events i post about in the regional forums...

its just this event was special because europe has had these type events ever since the GTR launched over there and NNA has a new team and the marketing manager is a cool guy and its really making strides to give US GTR owners and customers a new level of involvement and attention...

there was so much involved to make this happen but if successful it looks like they plan to do this with the GTR at the introduction of each model year.... aswell as even plans to accomodate owners at the nurburgring to watch the nissan japan team in their yearly development of the car
