Can you please keep us posted if the 'vette proves to be disappointing. I too am looking into more HP potential with a Corvette, yet I hear negative rumors. If we don't hear from you it must be fine.

Same here OP, keep us updated on the new ride. I spend alot of time in the Vette forums, and I read alot about faulty valve trains. I would say each month, you get 1 or 2 threads about someone dropping a valve, sometime just street driving. I guess that was a weak point on some of the earlier 06-08 LS7 engines.
