If zombies do not function in a similar manner as living beings (deriving energy from metabolic processes), then HOW do they function?

Otherwise, watch out for those flying zombies. They might take out your b-52.

well it DEPENDS on whose zombies you are talking about...

however we will go with generic zombies...
they defy normal logic as they are DEAD but they still walk around...
perhaps they are driven my voodoo magic in which case NO they would not need any metabolic process...

and to prove my point... you can shoot a zombie in the gut, and heart.. obliterating both organs... yet they still continue to function...
so take your logic and fuck yourself
