Any tips on how to pic up a girl at college? I am not looking for a botty call just a nice girl to talk to and go out with.

Don't look for trim in college if you are serious about school. You are paying a sh1tload of money to get a degree in our credential based society, don't waste it looking for poon. Women are everywhere, I literally see them almost everywhere I go. Plus women like an educated guy who excels in school. Focus on your education, women will always be there.

Well until December 22 2012, then we all die. :rofl2:

nogoodname 09-01-2009 08:51 PM

i'm in uni and and everyone is just serious about school

in college, i'm played around and made them girls laugh... if you think i'm funny here.... lol
at college, you wouldnt be able to breathe.....LOL
but i never really bothered to get into a relationship...not feelin all the shit that goes into it...
got enough stuff to do.

FuszNissan 09-01-2009 08:51 PM

Thats the problem though, everywhere else on the the planet University is for furthering your education and if you are lucky you might find a nice girl.
In this country, its fine to just get a degree because of our social and credential based economy, and otherwise its time to party.

I take my education very seriously, and I have been on honor role and the deans list since I started up again almost 2 years ago.

My first time around in school all I did was party and chase skirt. Wish I had that money back, because my grades suffered and I didn't take a lot away from those classes.

It's just sad to see people kill themselves in school and find out when they graduate that they can't get a job in the field they studied for. just my :twocents:

Yeah I'm with ya on that one. I've dropped a lot of chedda on school, and I have friends with Masters degrees in various fields that are currently jobless.

Hell my fiance has a Bachelors in Interior design, had a position lined up with a design firm after graduation, then the bottom fell out of the housing market, and industrial construction and design came to a halt.

She currently works at Cost Plus: World Market for $8.80/hr.

frost 09-01-2009 09:09 PM

< I got lucky, because I've got a decent job promoting from within, so after I get my degree, it should pay for itself because I already have a "decent" established job.

FuszNissan 09-01-2009 09:09 PM

I know, I have a few buddies that are engineers that are without jobs, fresh out of college.

nogoodname 09-01-2009 09:10 PM

that just sucks.... over here the economy is bumpin up now...Quebec got hit super hard but the housings didnt get hit at all....so that helps

FuszNissan 09-01-2009 09:12 PM

Housing got nailed here. Housing sales are through the roof, because you can buy a lot of house for cheap. My house lost big bucks, I'm pissed seeing people move in around me for 200k less than I bought for.

Same with the poor housing. We have so many low income hispanics purchasing houses in the bubble who couldn't end up keeping them. Not their fault though, they were allowed to do it.

FuszNissan 09-01-2009 09:15 PM

Oh, I hear yeah. The banks didn't seem to mind making the loans.

nogoodname 09-01-2009 09:18 PM

housing prices went up over here mostly......
