Interesting...sent them an email directly asking them why the are refinishing my wheels after telling me that powdercoating multiple times weakesn the wheel. Got this response:

"Joseph,

We would be more than happy to manufacture you a new set if you can wait. I know you have waited quite long for your wheels and defintely we want you to have a great experience with Forgestar. We are currently sold out of everything and our new shipment is arriving in1-2 weeks.

I know you have waited for a ridicilious amount of time, so if you can wait a little longer we can make you a brand new set of 4, include the new upgraded centercap and include the pinstripe at no additional charge.

well at this point yeah, id take the wait and get the new set. this is beyond ridiculous, but at least you wont get the POWDERCOATED XX TIMES set.

I say they should send you that set too as a consillation prize...

start with a fresh one with no payment on it....

I'm thinking about telling them to send me the current set to ride around on right now so I can sell my stock wheels, then send me a new set when they get them finished. If they give me the first set half price I'll go fer it...:tup:

if I wait for the new set, I lose the buyer of my stock wheels.

as a structural engineer, i'd still be freaked out over wheels that have been through temperature swings so many times...but okay, if you say so :)

can always find a new buyer u know....surprised the buyer stayed in this deal for 12 weeks

you know if you keep the order....there's a super duper high chance of being pissed on delivery...lol
