After making that post, I emailed the guy & asked about the car's not having the sport package. I've not yet gotten a response (it was after closing hours last night & I think they opened about fifteen minutes ago).

The car definitely had the 18" base wheels & no spoiler-- I couldn't see the brakes from the road. I assume it's pretty safe to say this car isn't Sport Package-equipped. With that said, if I were to just go test drive the car, would my experience be diluted because it's lacking the package?

thats tough to say. i've driven both but I would say it would have to depend on how you drive it in the test drive.

I don't drive dangerously, but I like to stretch the car's legs. No sport-package = no rev match, correct?

Correct, I could tell the difference between the two, brakes were different, SRM. But I did that so I could tell what I would be missing or gaining between the two.

Word. I'd like to do that test back-to-back, not drive a non-equipped car & then drive the other one months later.

I think I'm going to wait until there's a few on site.

All things considered, that would probably help keep the price down, too.
