I'm sick of seeing Michael Jackson coverage on TV.

nogoodname 07-01-2009 07:32 PM

what are they saying now??

cow 07-01-2009 07:36 PM

I don't know-- I just see him on every news channel my girlfriend flips past. Like I said in the thread, there's more important things happening in the world that should be getting coverage.

Celebrity-obsessed media is really irritating.

nogoodname 07-01-2009 07:38 PM

the radio stations over here didnt really play his music that much

cow 07-01-2009 07:45 PM

Here either anymore, except for pop stations when they'd do a flashback weekend or something.

frost 07-01-2009 07:47 PM

nogoodname 07-01-2009 07:47 PM

Yeah. I heard that on NPR. I like the way they cover his story (& most every story). They have a report, & they move on. Y'know, how news is supposed to be.

As long as a will has been notarized, it can be filed posthumously (here in the states, anyway).

nogoodname 07-01-2009 07:52 PM

not here, no will or no power attorney...everything is taken away

frost 07-01-2009 07:53 PM

Goes to the government?
