Congrats. Bet you're glad to get that over and done with.

Time to go rewire my front kitchen.

Nice addition Shumby!

I feel like shooting something with my sniper rifle tonight.

G37Sam 06-18-2009 08:22 PM

I'll pay you if you could come down here and snipe our neighbours dog! Bastard wakes up & wakes the whole neighbourhood so damn early!!

And they say my car's annoying

Semtex can buy me a beer when he is here in Calgary. j/k

I have a blue car like his but without all the added upgrades :tiphat:...but I did get my first mod with Berk HFCs installed today! I obviously haven't driven much but the increased responsiveness (and more aggressive sound) seems instantly noticable IMO.

Is unplugging the battery necessary to reset the ECU?

You should be fine after driving around for a bit

Yes, that's how you reset the ECU. But you don't really need to reset it, unless you're super impatient. Your ECU will adapt within ~60 miles or so. I wouldn't mind getting together with some of you guys in Calgary, btw. Are there any other members in Calgary yet?

check Shumbys post on the ecu reset thread.....no need to disconnect the battery

semtex 06-19-2009 10:34 AM

^LOL. I have a sneaking suspicion that that procedure of his is his own little joke on people.

frost 06-19-2009 10:39 AM

Is this like the 2-tone horn option? :D

nogoodname 06-19-2009 10:40 AM

That's what I was thinking. :bowrofl:

I've tried it like 5 times. I can't get it to work. But it might be just me. Or maybe it just doesn't work with the Z.

nogoodname 06-19-2009 10:44 AM

lol...too funny

semtex 06-19-2009 10:52 AM

So what ended up happening with the Sun vs. AK saga?

nogoodname 06-19-2009 10:58 AM

i think AK did it and she made an appointment with the BMW dealership
