I agree

^ Frost, I was in your fair city on Thurs-Sunday last week to visit friends. Nice weather, but a little uncharacteristically windy...

frost 04-07-2009 09:41 PM

^it's been nuts here with the wind, normally we have ZERO. Now everyone's allergies are killing them. I'll be up in canada in 95 days for my wedding and honeymoon. Hoping for some fair weather myself :D

vancouver, followed by alaska

AB370Z 04-07-2009 09:46 PM

vancouver is a very nice city...especially, if you have never been there. let me guess, you are taking a cruise to Alaska from Vancouver... :)

frost 04-07-2009 09:47 PM

You got it, but I'm spending 4 days in vancouver first.

AB370Z 04-07-2009 09:50 PM

while there's lots to see in Vancouver, if you can swing it, a day trip to Victoria (taking a ferry) is also a neat place to go.

frost 04-07-2009 09:51 PM

oh yeah? neat because of the scenery?

AB370Z 04-07-2009 09:55 PM

scenery, old historical buildings in the downtown, good low key night life. the old downtown harbor area is very cool. google victoria, british columbia I guess.

Personally I go scuba diving there, but its a little cold in the water and need a wet suit.

you can go on whale watching tours too.

frost 04-07-2009 09:59 PM

Thanks for the tip mate, definitely time for a day trip.
