i hate AC guys, the always come like the next day......blocks up ur whole day...

them and their service contracts...... i have way too many stories about that.

nogoodname 05-08-2009 01:18 PM

here's the scoop about my funky electrical.

Start the car, everything sounds fine in the engine bay but the Volt gauge hits the floor at ZERO but the engine runs smoothly....lol...then it pops back up to normal voltage, But the windows no longer works, not even a budge on the volt gauge when i press the up or down button. also the radio makes funky thumping noises at start up but works fine after the voltage comes back.....lol

is this weird or what???

Did you get it to the dealer?

nogoodname 05-08-2009 01:40 PM

no, warranty expired 17 years ago.....lol....

nogoodname 05-08-2009 01:43 PM

lunch time, no one is posting

nogoodname 05-08-2009 01:48 PM

well, i'm gonna go fix it myself..............i assume a short circuit somewhere

good thing i have the original service book.........bigger than a phone book...lol.

Loose connection, failing battery ... ?

nogoodname 05-08-2009 02:36 PM

car drives fine, it's just the windows dying on me and screwing up the radio also

shumby 05-08-2009 02:43 PM

ya you gpot a broke or loose wire there. Good luck findint it. lol

nogoodname 05-08-2009 02:49 PM

turns out i fixed it, master switch assembly was super dusty causing a short.
this short caused the window fuse to blow, but this fuse is in the door...like a circuit breaker.... it resets after awhile....which explains the funky volt gauges but engine running fine....lol...case solved

shumby 05-08-2009 02:50 PM

hey you going to get a mastergrade roof for the 6000?

nogoodname 05-08-2009 02:52 PM

yea, i dunno how the fitment is going to be....lol and i got a CF hood, quite huge piece of CF...lol.....i saved about 100 Lbs on curb weight...

shumby 05-08-2009 03:14 PM
