Running is like torture to me, but because I find it so hard to do it and stick with it, I think anyone who can stick with it has more concentration than me.

Trying keeping that pace for 50-100 miles nogood. ;)

All this talk of working out is making me want to skip an evening with a girl who is a friend and run.

nogoodname 08-19-2009 09:22 PM

I use to think the same thing, but this past year I have only ever used my MP3 player once, and it was the first time I did a 15 mile run. Never use it for my daily runs or after that 15 mile run, it is just odd. I use to always use it for working out but just stopped.

Yeah, that helps, but not enough to make it worth it.

What would make it worth it? ;)

Caravanshaka 08-19-2009 09:27 PM

some of the girls in nogoods epic thread with a disclosure of

"you catch it you keep it"

I'd be runnin' pretty damn fast

StLRedrider 08-19-2009 09:28 PM

i need it, i have a ipod nano, then just bought a touch just incase one dies i can switch them out. Damn dreamer your are pretty freakin fast, are you on a road bike? i average about 15 to 18 miles per hour and i'm on my yeti. it also depends on how much foot traffic is in the way

theDreamer 08-19-2009 09:31 PM

I am not that fast, I have a road bike. I can do a very quick/fast pace on my bike for about 20-25 miles, but if I do a steady pace (normal cadence) I can last above 50 currently. My issue I am worried about is the fact that in a triathlon I have to swim before I bike. I have yet to swim in almost four years, but one thing at a time still.

StLRedrider 08-19-2009 09:32 PM

Good luck with the triathlon, i think i'll stick to my mountain biking
