Wow. Your list is all over the place in terms of car types. I can tell you that the Cayman will not fit any of your practical needs in place of the Z. 1 series Bimmers are interesting, but kinda on the low scale of things. I believe you would feel like you made an unnecessary compromise and even a bit cheated in fit/finish/maintence. The STi would be a worth-wild move, but you either love'em ore hate'em. My roomate had on back in 04 and it was pretty good, but felt strange from the driver's seat. I am not even going to speak on the 5.0.
If you need something more practical and you really liked the Z, go with a G37S or IPL (Same mods as 370Z NISMO compaired to 370Z BASE/Touring if you can find it). A little more money, but all of the practical stuff......luxury (if you are into that).......and a worth-wild performer. Plus you can get some interesting mods out there that make it look like a V.36. Just my ![]() ![]() ![]()
