mine was with my dad. he likes to grow things like tomato's, peppers, etc on the back deck. He also "tries" to grow watermelons, but none has gotten larger than like 4-5" (aka non edible)

So i went to kroger (grocery store) at 3 am and picked out the smallest watermelon i could (around 9") and snuck it onto the deck and kinda hid it in the thickest part of the watermelon vines. next day I hear my dad all happy and talking and chatting. he had told my mom to go look at his amazing watermelon, he called up my sister in England, he called up his brothers, his sisters, he called the neighbor telling them he will bring some of it over.

Finally when he brought me out to look at it, i reached down, pretended to tear it off and you could hear him screaming at me.

I calmly flipped it over and showed him the kroger sticker :-D

buahaha.

Back in the 70s when the gas crisis hit and people started keeping track of their mileage, a friend of my dad messed with his neighbor.

The neighbor was extremely anal about checking his mileage, so my dad's buddy started sneaking over every night and siphoning off a little gas. Of course, by the end of the tank, his mileage had gone to crap. After the guy got all worried, he changed his nightly sneaking by going over and putting the gas that he'd siphoned out back in so the guy's mileage started going through the roof. The guy was completely baffled.
