Probably wouldn't have been as rude but stayed firm in your position. You don't want to provoke him. If anything you want to see if he'll actually issue a threat that you can report.
This sounds more like something that will go away depending on his distance to you and how you react. I would definitely alert local PD that there could be a situation with this guy. Other than that there's really nothing you can do. |
