6mtg37s 03-11-2011 02:58 AM

Wow this is really sad, I hope everyone does their best to help out. Also another sad part as MC mentioned is that the 2012 GTRs are gonna most probably be postponed

XLR8SN 03-11-2011 03:03 AM

Ahhh well....at least you guys are not sitting in the office waiting for the backups to complete where if you look out the window you can see the ocean and we are on a Tsunami alert.

Then again....I would have a front row view if it hits... :ugh2:

Though I do hope the people in Japan are doing their best in making it through....it sucks worse for them...

IMWEZL 03-11-2011 03:17 AM

Yeah last year I was in Schofield during the Tsunami alert/watch. I can only imagine how nuts Wal-Mart and the open gas stations must be throughout Hawaii. Stay safe out there bro, especially if it hits the airport and powerstation.

Vegitto-kun 03-11-2011 03:29 AM

Ah ****, I hope japan pull through.

this is a selfish thing to think about. but my amuse body kit was supposed to be shipped around this time on a boat.

I hope the boat wasn't tsunami'd

ducky 03-11-2011 03:53 AM

This is hella crazy..my hood friend is in Sendai and they got hit by a 33 foot tsunami..**** up..prayer to all peeps in jp

Jose Aliling 03-11-2011 04:55 AM

Too late. The gas stations all had lines out to the roads. They are evacuating everyone from the flood zones. Good thing it's after rush hour.

Mike 03-11-2011 06:35 AM

I'm praying for everyone, that is horrible.

Jeffblue 03-11-2011 06:51 AM

this is really sad. the 2004 tsunami killed almost a 200,000 people, and thats just deaths, not injuries. Its very difficult for these kinds of tragedies to register in our minds. we can comprehend a car accident, or a shooting, but these kinds of things, theres just too much to really wrap your head around.

370zproject 03-11-2011 07:13 AM

Prayers to anyone affected

Dustin@Z1 03-11-2011 07:27 AM

My prayers go out to those in Japan. I hope those in Hawaii check in following this to let us know. The waves hitting the big island are pending now.

I know Aut10tc is over there.

dad 03-11-2011 07:28 AM

+ 1 meter wave reading @ Midway

+.5 meter wave reading at Wake Island

Hawaii prediction estimated at +2 meters based off of Wake and Midway data.

All Armed Forces members are accounted for!

dainedazz 03-11-2011 07:32 AM

I seen footage while I was @ work. Looked like a scene from the 2012 movie. Scary stuff, that sh*t looked insane. God bless the people in Japan. I do hope my parts that I ordered aren't delayed :/ but again, I also hope people's safe. STAY STRONGG JAPAN!

Isamu 03-11-2011 07:54 AM

I hope all my peeps "deployed" to Guam and those stationed there are all right

ClemsonWill 03-11-2011 08:02 AM

I'm just speechless. When events like this happen it really makes you think about whats important. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the areas affected.

phelan 03-11-2011 08:25 AM

wonder where all the planes at sendai airport went?

christian370z 03-11-2011 10:34 AM

Truely incredible, my thoughts and prayers go out to all in Japan. They are well suited for dealing with strong earthquakes but there is not much you can do about tsunamis, especially since it is still very hard to warn people of impending tsunamis.

kenchan 03-11-2011 11:16 AM

i was able to get a hold of my mom and pops in tokyo. they felt it but no damage or injury. my pops mentioned to me that just yesterday him and mom were visiting the exact areas that sustained the big blow... i felt kinda sick after that.

this is yet another huge blow to the japanese economy too.. :(

i am already seeing reports from my team that parts are delayed...

Glad to hear your folks are okay. The Japanese are a very resilient people, and will rebound very well.

Isamu 03-11-2011 11:23 AM
