Star Wars seems to be branching out in every way possible following the "success" of the second trilogy. Is there any chance of a new Star Trek show?

That's just because George Lucas needs money.

Honestly, I was the biggest fan of the original trilogy. I grew up with it. Han shot first.

But it's just been slowly and repeatedly degraded since then.
