Default Back up cameras standard by 2014 car models?

Proposed government rule to make it standard to get rid of blind spots on 2014 MY passenger vehicles to protect against backing into children or someone in the blind spot back there.
The Associated Press: Gov't offers new rules for rear visibility in cars

Maybe standard on the Z by then?
What do you think about this rule if it passed?

I think the kits will most likely be those in-mirror type. they just have to buy a ton of them and install them into all their vehicles. installing in dash screens on a economy car is definitely not gonna happen.

Wish I had one today. Really tough backing out of a space at a supermarket with other cars backing up, other cars waiting for spots, people with carriages, etc... Small parking lot, otherwise I would be farrrr away
