If there was no top gear UK your right that would help, because they wouldn't be copying it practically word for word. But then it would still come down to the hosts, who it seems most people agree are not very entertaining, although admittedly that probably also has allot to to with their desperate attempt to be the same as the other guys.
Hopefully this season will be better but I'm not getting my hopes up. That's my opinion, but it seems some people do claim to enjoy the show... although I can't understand why
