The DFFGR is a good wheel and cheap, but there is no clutch pedal. The G27 is quite a step up. If you need Xbox compatibility the Fanatec CSR wheel and pedal combo is excellent, but pricey. I use the Playseat Revolution -- a good seat, but others are nice as well. Earlier in this thread there was some pictures of some home built rigs.

Don't have xbox so that's not an issue. Ill test out the DFGT wheel at see how I like it. for $50 it's not a bad deal. Then later may upgrade to G27 if I get more serious. I'll check out the seat

You could always try looking for the G27 on Ebay.

true, but it's hard to tell on ebay how hard the previous owner used the wheel/pedals. Plus it seems like it's pointless to by the g27 and attach it too a desk. I think one day I'll just get the full setup (g27, seat / stand)

Just build your own chassis. I spend around $100 building mine.
