PS3 - Gran Turismo

i hope the NSX comes with the update like the 86 did for the previous as both were used for promotional purposes..

excited about the test track... the car back less so...besides the lambo of course.... wish they had the nismo leaf instead of the regular...something to compete with that prius tc

The new test course is pretty cool. Now you can time your 0-60 and 0-100. Also 1/4 mile and mile plus top speed (max) and max g-forces. Its and 18 mile long oval! The Lambo Aventador (did I spell that right?) and the Aston v12 Vantage are pretty nice. The Leaf, Bug and Mini (another dlc Mini, really?) not so nice.

Soooooooo this thread has convinced me that when my bah comes in next month, i need to get GT5.

Last racing game i played was most wanted on the xbox 180..aka just xbox

I'm worried though because the only option is the controller for a while. due to quitting my job and "bettering myself" with higher education. the side effect of which is being broke. is it bad with the joysticks?

I wouldnt know, I have only played GT5 on my steering wheel setup. After playing racing games on my wheel I refuse to ever play w a controller again. I know plenty of people that play on the sticks though so it cant be too bad. Its a great game, pick it up, you will love it.

GT5 is perfectly fine with the DS3 controller, that's how I played Gran Turismo for the past 12 years. However, if you find yourself a die-hard racing fan then I highly suggest you get a wheel like the Logitech G27.

If you just going to be a casual player then there is no need to spend the money for a wheel.

But for me there is no other way to play Gran Turismo.

it might be a while Forza seems to have the lock on that

i play the new seasonal events every wednesday night but thats about it....
