Have they announced the actual time for it to go live? I have a couple weeks between jobs to screw around with it.

Edit: post that and then discover that it should be out by 8PM EST!

I don't know how much anyone cares, but within a week I'll be updating this thread with pictures of the REAL Chaparral cars that are so hard to beat

I love those things, especially the ones with the sucker fans that got dq'd from every racing series they entered for kicking so much ***.

On topic, is there actually an expectation that GT6 will be released within a year of the date they gave us?

Yep! I'm going to make a detour on my drive back to CA to go to the museum because I didn't see it the first time... AND they let you sit in the 2D!!! (Not that I think my fat *** will fit in it...)
Although the guy said I could take the steering wheel out to fit, lol

pretty damn hard

so far i got gold on all the practice events... I didnt really try to qualifying yet I just layed down a base time to get a ghost car save

I did spend an entire hour on the Bonus Race #1 with the GTR.. Finally got gold with a 1:00.96.. I usually used bumper view with the gauges but i had to switch to hood view to see the apex better.. that event was tough

I tried Bonus Race #2 just twice and got Silver the 2nd attempt so ive got the shave a second or so off that for gold then I will start the qualifying on the Silverstone full course.

Graphics are better even in Demo form.. the lighting is the most notable and then little things like dust and other effects are better.. Menus are 1000% better as they sucked in GT5

Ok played it about another hour today and got gold on all the events.. I think for the GT Academy Qualifier lap im 1,200th so far

If you change the date on your PS3 to 7/29 it unlocks the GTR NISMO GT3 event

here was my gold 2:09.1 i can do better but i had to change the date back as it locked me out of the Qualifying event

I was ranked 10th but thats because only probably 10 people knew to change the date haha
