Damn, I was hoping for more cars. At least a few street cars, sucks that they all touring. Plus that track pack is laaaammmme.

The cockpit is very stable, the monitor doesn't move at all.

They need to add lightweight track cars like the Ariel Atom, KTM x-bow and that new BAC Mono into the game. The Veyron as a "premium" & the Venom GT would be nice also. Standard cars look like crap! I don't know why they even bothered.

This 2.0... huge disappintment.

Physics update, awesome. I can really tell the difference.

Car interiors? Probably the worst decision PD has ever made. They are completely black with no textures or lighting to speak of. Why did they do this? It would have been better that they hadn't done it at all. Now everyone is just going to laugh at how pathetic it is, because it is honestly distracting to have this black frame around the game screen like that.

But hey, we have GT6 prologue coming. That is to say, the GT5 DLC.

As cheesy as the standard interiors are I feel its better to have theoption than to not. Sure the detailed cockpit is nice and all but thats not what Im focused on when Im racing. Having the black frame is ok with me, I like cockpit view. Im def more excited about this update than the DLC. The DLC looks wack.

The bumper cam was too low and the roof or hood cam (or whatever it was) was too high. The silhouette cockpit is the right viewpoint for me, but they could have shown the hood or something or provided some generic cockpit. But, I agree that it is better than before. Now I might actually drive some of my standard cars (when the newness of Forza 4 wears off :) )

Bought a dfgt...man I suck with a wheel

this semester needs to end so i can start playing again...my g25 is getting dusty :shakes head:

That's a real good wheel for the price.

for those interested... i tested the fanatec CSR wheel on GT5 and it works great! i even used it on the X2010 Suzuka challenge as the ultimate test and the wheel felt great

I wasn't all that crazy about the DFGT so I opted for the G27. The G27 such a better wheel and it can be quite frequently be bought for around $200 plus now it is fully supported in GT5.

Im on a dfgt until it breaks then Im gettin a g27. For the price Im amazed at the quality of that wheel. I have been on it for years and I cant seem to break it. The key to really having fun with a wheel is having something proper to mount it too.
